While registration for volunteer hours has almost filled up, we still need a lot more people to help with breakdown on Sunday night. Please sign up if you're willing and able!

If you would like to sell minicomics at the convention, please drop them off in the NYCC box in the Senior Studio by Wednesday night. Do not forget to fill out the accompanying form! Drop an extra mini in the Reviews box while you're at it. If you will be taking your minicomics directly to the convention, you MUST still fill out a drop-off form in the Senior Studio before Wednesday night. If your minicomic is not listed on the printed out tally sheet, WE CANNOT SELL IT.

And for those looking toward the future: next week's meeting (October 21st) is going to be a materials demonstration in the form of a jam comics marathon! Get pumped to work in new ways and collaborate.

  • Do you want publicity for your minicomics? Enter the Mini Reviews Box. Bring your minicomics to our meetings or the Senior Studio to submit them for review on the Cartoon Allies blog. Each week, bloggers Eric and Hayley will randomly select a student's mini from the box and offer readers a preview of the comic and their thoughts. We hope to improve student promotion and give members a space to show their work to a greater audience.
