Operation: Guest Speaker- Joseph P. Illidge

10/30 • 6:30 PM • Room 703G

Howdy allies,

We hope the group critique last week was helpful for all of you! This week, Joseph P. Ilidge will be coming to talk about diversity in comics, and the role that it has played in his work as an editor and writer.

Joseph started his editorial career at Milestone Media, Inc., the first Black-owned mainstream comic book company and creators of Static Shock. He is best known for his work editing Batman at DC Comics.  Joseph’s guidance during the year-long event Batman: No Man’s Land and the Batman line-wide relaunch reestablished The Batman as DC Entertainment’s top-selling character.

As always with group speakers, please be advised we'll be meeting in the Library, not room 703G, this week.

All majors are welcome to participate, so we hope you stop by! Friday 10/30, 6:30 PM, in the Library (2nd floor) of  the 380 2nd Ave building.
